Sobre nuestro laboratorio
Advancing peptide science through precision synthesis, rigorous quality control, and world-class research infrastructure.
Empowering Research with Precision Peptides
PepMake was founded on a single conviction: that researchers worldwide deserve access to pharmaceutical-grade peptides with uncompromising quality, transparent analytical documentation, and responsive technical support. We bridge the gap between bulk chemical suppliers and clinical-grade manufacturing, delivering custom peptides that meet the exacting standards of academic discovery, preclinical development, and industrial R&D.
From milligram-scale exploratory syntheses to kilogram-scale production campaigns, our laboratory integrates automated synthesis platforms, advanced purification instrumentation, and a rigorous multi-point quality control system to ensure every shipment is analytically verified and fully traceable.
Laboratory Credentials & Infrastructure
GMP-Grade Manufacturing
Our synthesis facility adheres to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles, including documented standard operating procedures (SOPs), raw material traceability, equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and environmental monitoring. All production batches are assigned unique identifiers for full chain-of-custody tracking from raw amino acid to final vial.
ISO Class 100 (ISO 5) Cleanroom
Sterile filtration, vial filling, and lyophilization stoppering are performed inside a certified ISO Class 100 (ISO 5) laminar flow cleanroom. Continuous particle counting, HEPA filtration, and strict gowning protocols ensure aseptic processing conditions that prevent particulate and microbial contamination of research-grade products.
Cold-Chain Logistics Network
We partner with FedEx and DHL for temperature-controlled international express shipping. Every order is packaged with validated cooling packs inside vacuum-sealed aluminum foil bags, ensuring peptides remain at optimal temperature during transit. Real-time tracking and customs documentation are provided for every shipment.
Five-Step Synthesis & Quality Release Process
Sequence Design & Feasibility
Our computational chemists evaluate sequence complexity, solubility profile, and aggregation propensity before synthesis begins. We optimize Fmoc-protected amino acid coupling strategies and identify potential problematic residues to ensure successful chain assembly.
Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS)
Automated solid-phase synthesizers assemble the peptide chain using Fmoc/tBu chemistry on pre-loaded resins. Each amino acid coupling is monitored in real-time via conductivity or UV absorption, with double-coupling applied to sterically hindered residues for maximum yield.
TFA Cleavage & Crude Recovery
The completed peptide-resin is treated with a tailored TFA cleavage cocktail (containing scavengers such as TIS, EDT, and water) to release the crude peptide while preventing side-reactions. Crude peptide is precipitated in cold diethyl ether and lyophilized.
Preparative HPLC Purification
Crude peptide is dissolved and loaded onto a preparative C18 reverse-phase HPLC column. Gradient elution with acetonitrile/water (0.1% TFA) separates the target peptide from deletion sequences and truncated impurities. Pure fractions are pooled, concentrated, and re-analyzed.
Final QC Release & Lyophilization
Purified peptide undergoes final analytical HPLC (purity check), ESI-MS (mass verification), Karl Fischer titration (water content), and LAL endotoxin testing. After passing all quality gates, the batch is sterile-filtered, lyophilized, and released with a signed Certificate of Analysis.
Meet Our Scientific Leadership Team
PepMake is led by experienced peptide chemists and quality assurance professionals dedicated to producing the highest-standard research peptides.
Dr. Marcus Vance
Chief Scientific Officer & Lab DirectorDr. Vance brings over 18 years of peptide chemistry experience from academic and pharmaceutical research settings. He oversees all synthesis operations, method development, and quality assurance protocols at PepMake. His expertise spans solid-phase peptide synthesis, fragment condensation strategies, and large-scale GMP manufacturing workflows.
Elena Rostova
Head of Quality Control & Analytical ServicesElena Rostova leads our analytical chemistry division, managing a team of HPLC and mass spectrometry specialists. With a background in analytical biochemistry and pharmacopeial monograph development, she ensures every batch meets or exceeds the purity, identity, and endotoxin specifications documented in our COA program.
Dr. Henrik Lindqvist
Director of Custom Synthesis & Client RelationsDr. Lindqvist coordinates custom peptide synthesis projects from initial feasibility assessment through final delivery. A peptide chemist by training, he works directly with clients to translate research requirements into precise synthesis specifications, including complex modifications, labeling, and salt-exchange requirements.
Analytical Verification & Batch Traceability
HPLC Purity Analysis
Every batch is tested on a calibrated analytical C18 reverse-phase HPLC system with UV detection at 214 nm and 280 nm wavelengths. Purity is reported as area-percent, and chromatograms are archived for batch-to-batch consistency comparison.
Mass Spectrometry (ESI-MS)
Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry confirms the molecular weight of each peptide within +/- 1 Da of the theoretical mass. MS spectra are included in every Certificate of Analysis and serve as the definitive identity verification for custom sequences.
Full-Release Certificate of Analysis
Each shipment includes a signed COA documenting purity, mass identity, water content (Karl Fischer), endotoxin level (LAL assay), and residual counter-ion content. Batch numbers are permanently searchable on our public Quality verification page.
Our quality management system is built on the principle that every peptide shipped should be analytically verified and fully traceable. We maintain retention samples of every production batch for post-market stability monitoring and archival re-analysis. Customers are encouraged to independently verify our analytical data through third-party laboratories, and we stand behind every batch with a no-cost resynthesis guarantee in the event of a verified quality discrepancy.
