Vesugen is a synthetic tripeptide with the sequence Lys-Glu-Asp (KED, molecular weight ~390 Da), from the short regulatory peptide family characterized in the Russian peptide research program. It is studied in vascular and endothelial research, and in an Alzheimer's disease mouse model the KED and EDR tripeptides were reported to show neuroprotective effects, preventing dendritic spine loss (Khavinson et al., Pharmaceuticals 2021, PMID 34071923). Vesugen research peptide is supplied lyophilized at ≥99% purity verified by HPLC, with identity confirmed by mass spectrometry and a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA) included.
