GHK-Cu (Copper Tripeptide-1) is a naturally occurring copper(II)-binding tripeptide with the sequence Gly-His-Lys, found in human plasma and wound fluid. The GHK-Cu complex (~404 Da) is studied in dermal and matrix-remodeling research, where it has been reported to influence expression of genes relevant to collagen, elastin, and antioxidant pathways (Pickart et al., Oxid Med Cell Longev 2012, PMC3359723; He et al., Int J Mol Sci 2024, PMC11011925).
